Well, I did it. I started a blog. I’ve thought about it for a little while now but it’s time to put my ideas into action and I’m super excited! I’m hoping that this blog will be an entertaining place where I can share my thoughts on running, training, products I love, (mostly) healthy eating, and life in general. Looking forward I’d also love to showcase some of my amazing runner friends out there!

Since this is my first post, I should give a quick background to my life. I LOVE running and being active and it all began in high school when I wanted to compete in a sport but didn’t trust my coordination (or lack thereof) on a team. Narrowing my options, you really can’t mess up running in circles on a track, and so I dove into track and cross country and the rest is history. For the past couple of months, I’ve been training for my first ever full marathon – the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington DC on October 27th. Lots more on the marathon training front to come for sure, but for now I’ll leave it at that. Thank you for coming by and reading my first blog post!
